Steven Karch, Esq.
Steven Karch, Esq., was named partner of Rotolo Karch Law effective July 1, 2017. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, Mr. Karch’s experience in the courtroom, which is focused primarily on family law and civil litigation matters, serves as a strong basis for his ability to facilitate negotiations as a Family Law Mediator.
Mr. Karch received his law degree in 2002 from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, NJ, after which he was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar as well as the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. After graduation, he clerked for the Hon. Amy O’Connor, J.S.C., in the Superior Court Chancery Division – Family Part in Warren County, NJ. Shortly thereafter Mr. Karch practiced law at a Phillipsburg, NJ law firm before joining Rotolo Karch Law. In addition to his courtroom experience, Mr. Karch served on the Warren County Family Law Committee, where he was past chairman, and also volunteered with the Warren County Legal Services in Belvidere, NJ while in law school.
Prior to pursuing a career in law, Mr. Karch worked in financial services following his 1992 graduation from Wilkes University where he pursued a double major in History and Political Science. Mr. Karch’s financial background is useful in reaching fair resolutions to the sometimes complex financial aspects of divorce and civil litigation matters.
As partner with Rotolo Karch Law, Mr. Karch shares the Firm’s philosophy of putting the client’s best interest first. Sometimes this interest is best served by pursuing alternative, cost-effective strategies designed to achieve the best possible solution for all parties involved. Mr. Karch’s experience as a litigator has prepared him to assume the role of mediator, hearing evidence and guiding the involved parties toward a mutually acceptable resolution.
